Elisabeth Lauffer is a German-English literary translator based in the US. She received a B.A. in German Studies from Wesleyan University and a Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She has translated more than twenty books, ranging from children’s and young adult literature to novels and nonfiction for adults. Born and raised in Vermont, Elisabeth Lauffer now lives in upstate New York.
