Raphaël Kolly was born in the Swiss village of Plaffeien. He received his bachelor’s degree in Illustration Fiction from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Since then, he has worked as a freelance illustrator and picture book maker. He lives in Switzerland.
