Laura Francesca Filippucci, born in 1963 in Milan, studied illustration at the Instituto Europeo di Design in Milan and at the School of Visual Arts in New York. After illustrating magazines for several years, she now focuses on children’s books. In 1991, Laura Francesca Filippucci was awarded the UNICEF Award in Bologna. She lives with her family in Milan.
