Born on August 30, 1946 in Piestany in Slovakia. Maja Dusiková studied art in Bratislava and graduated in 1973 as a graphic designer and book illustrator. Maja Dusiková has successfully participated in exhibitions all over the world and has illustrated over 40 children’s books. Since 1982 she has lived with her family in Florence.
