Lawrence Schimel joins NorthSouth Books to grow Spanish language program
NorthSouth Books Inc, the US division of Swiss Picture Book Publisher NordSüd Verlag, are delighted to announce that award-winning editor, author, and translator Lawrence Schimel will join on 1st March as Senior Editor to help develop the company’s Spanish language books. Schimel will help focus, coordinate, and improve the current Spanish language list, with a firm eye to meeting the needs of Spanish readers in the US. A small program of original Spanish language titles from Latin American authors and illustrators is also in the pipeline.
